Over the past few years the interest in GUT HEALTH has been growing rapidly, causing “experts” that aren’t really experts pushing false information as they received their information from Media outlets. Companies have had a massive affect on the gut health industry, although most companies will sell whatever the consumer wants, even when they know it’s incorrect.
This is a never ending cycle of sh*t! People are thinking they’re doing the right thing but they are not. Therefore You Health and Nutrition Science decided that we needed to make a change and create a gut health product that is going to not only improve Gut health but your overall health.
After many hours of studying the true science of a healthy gut we have created a GHC (Gut Health Complex).
What is Gut Health Complex?
Before we get started on GHC, you need to know about;
A compound produced by bacteria, and fungi which can kill or compete with other micro-organisms.
Bacterial cells, build cell walls. Penicillin (antibiotics) work by blocking this process through dissolving the cell membranes. When antibiotics are being digested and flowing through the blood stream, they kill bad bacteria AND the good bacteria.
Pro-biotics are a live bacteria and yeast species, known for weight gain.
Problems after taking antibiotics aren’t coming from bacteria, it’s coming from overgrowth of yeast species. Pro-biotics can be beneficial if you have had a big bacteria die off from antibiotics, which kills all bacteria.
These are not digestible in the stomach but beneficial to the micro-organisms living in the gastrointestinal tract. They stimulate growth and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, due to pre-bioitcs not being able to be digested within the gut flora which will make their way down to the large intestines, species live and can feed on the pre-biotics to survive.
Pre-biotics tend to have a beneficial impact on aerobic microbes and have a negative impact on anaerobic microbes. Lactobacillus species from pre-biotics are like seeds, which go through the digestive tract unaltered to feed the growth of bacteria in the large intestine. As fermicutes reside in the large intrestine, the fibre from pre-biotics can feed production of fermicutes leading to weight gain.
Globally our health has declined significantly in the last 50 years;
Diabetes type 2, Metabolic syndrome/Insulin resistant syndrome and Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Anxiety and depression
Gut problems – Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) / Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) / Small Intestine Bowel Overgrowth (SIBO) / Fermentable Oligo- Di- and Monosaccharides and Polyols (FODMAP) / indigestion / Reflux (GORD)
Immune dysregulation – allergies, resistant infections, and autoimmunity
So now they’re briefly explained, lets explain what GHC is and why you need to take it.
We have too many Fermicutes and not enough bacteroidetes!
Fermicutes; are sugar feeders that create inflammation and slow our metabolism
Bacteridetes; are bacteria fat feeders that block inflammation and boost our metabolism
Fermicutes and Bacteroidtes are 90% of your gut bugs. If knocked out of whack, opportunities for klebsiella, candida and other parasites can over grow and cause problems.
But, we have hardly changed in that time!
We haven’t had enough time for us to have evolved new genes and new genetic material across our species to explain our bad health. It is NOT human genetic polymorphisms and gene defects.
Our total calories in vs calories out have not changed enough to explain the above epidemics.
So, what has changed?
Our gut bugs have changed because our food and eating has changed.
We have two genomes, one inherited from our parents and the other acquired from our microbiome. Our inherited genome from our parents takes so many generations to change. Mathematical models suggest we have the ability to change 0.05% of our genetic material over 100,000 years. On average, in DNA sequence, each human is 99.5% similar to any other human. While our inherited genome hardly changes if at all during our lifetime, the microbiome genome is extremely dynamic and can be constantly changing, even from night and day. The human gut microbiome accounts for more than 5 million different genes that is 100 x the number of genes we possess. Some of the genes encoded by the human core microbiome build systems required for their human host survival, but not present in our human genome.
Our gut microbiota consists of more than 10 trillion microbial cells, which is about 10X the number of our own cells making up about 1–2 kg of our body weight. Our gut bugs play a very active role in our energy metabolism and immune and inflammatory systems.
Why Are Our Guts Unhealthy?
Our food has changed due to farming techniques, harvesting, storage and food preparation techniques along with our food choices and purchases. The way we eat food and how we developed has changed but not us.
Per gram of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains we now have
Less antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-fungal compounds from fiber, pulp, skins, peels, and seeds
Plus “added” Round-up
Less micro nutrients
It’s our “balanced” diet
We eat the same food all year round. In nature, we would cycle between different “FAD diets”. Only eating what’s available for that season and then only eating what’s available the next month and so on. We farm our meat, fruits and vegetables all year round. We have been taught to have a “balanced” diet by balancing our food groups in each meal or day but we tend to select the same foods all year round. but this goes against our true diet.
We do not have regular intermittent fasting. In nature we go through phases of feast and famine, our metabolism learns to adapt to changing ratios of protein, carbohydrates, and fats and eating at different times of the day.
Without this variation and change, there is a constant food supply for certain microorganisms and deficiencies of favorite foods for other microbes and that will fuel an overgrowth of some and deficiencies of others. We need variety.
So how do we fix this?
No. we have too many bugs and most probiotic supplements are actually firmicutes e.g. lactobacillus is a firmicute! Using probiotics to fix overgrowth of bad bugs is like throwing grass seeds at weeds. They do not get rid of established bad bugs and usually just add more firmicutes.
No. We already have too much sugar in our food, they are already eating that. Why add a capsule more? Prebiotics are just food for bugs, do you want to feed your weeds? If probiotics are like throwing grass seeds at weeds than prebiotics are like throwing fertilizer on weeds.
That’s a BIG no. yes, they kill everything in their path but don’t solve the issue. it’s also another reason why we have gut issues.
So What is GHC?
GHC is a complex of compounds like, polyphenols, polysaccharides, glucans, lectins and others that are not an “indiscriminate” killer, not a living organism and don’t feed bad organisms. They are antimicrobial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial compound which help alter the ratios of good and bad bacteria within the stomach flora.
The ingredients of GHC are a bunch of herbs, fruit skins, nut skins and other compounds. These ingredients have been derived of all sugars, why? Your gut microbiome can make you crave certain foods that they want or need, sugars, lactose, starch and nutrients. Gut bugs can change: hormonal balance, insulin sensitivity, mood, cravings, body shape, mental clarity, immunity and allergies detoxification and elimination.
Starving your bugs creates herxheimer reaction; nausea, burping, bloating, farting, constipation, diarrhea. This means gut bugs are changing, not food intolerance. studies show while loosing weight, if you don’t change your gut bugs, that got you fat and keep you fat. you will put the weight back on.
calorie restriction will cut the weight, changing the gut bugs will keep the weight off.
we don’t need more gut bugs, we need balance. over weight people, their bugs are overfed and want more food. with fat loss they starve, lay dormant. when fed their favourite food they thrive, grow and you put that weight back on. Studies shows supplementation with polyphenols in obese individuals along with a probiotic restricted diet; including low amounts of probiotic-rich foodstuffs like yogurt, soy yogurt, or as probiotic supplements, are the most effective way to change the gut microbiome to correct obesity.
GHC ingredients kill and control fermicutes, and increase Bacteridetes, also kill off candida. You need to get rid of the biofilm, if you don’t, you can’t kill off the candida. which GHC does, it also knockouts klebsiella which can create inflammation, autoimmunity & other autoimmune diseases. GHC modulates lactocubilcus, which contributes to obesity.
While all of this is happening to your gut, we need to protect the membrane from damage, protect liver from damage and stop immune system from over burden. At the same time it needs to protect your gut wall and stop what’s causing you problems, with fibres and resistance starches, like green banana skin and cranberry. The body needs this “barrier” because it needs these fibres due to the gut flora, as we get rid of the fermicutes and help the bacteridetes they’re going to feed off the fibre and turn it into short chain fatty acids to give the gut wall the nutrients it needs.

the ingredients stimulate aid digestion, encourage different acids, enzymes through the organs.
if we screw around with acid, PH levels and enzymes by taking acids and enzymes you’re not fixing the problem, you’re just replacing enzymes that are deficient. if you get the micro flora, tissue and interect system right, then you’re able to control those.
The gut allows water, macro’s and micro’s, they can cross the gut wall either through the cells or between the cells. the wall dumps toxins and uses mucous membrane to flush waste. when gap between cells become too open, the bad stuff like toxins can slip in and cause problems which is called leaky gut.
This is where L-Glutamine comes in. Glutamine helps strengthen the gut wall, we only need 2-3g per day. If we have too much it can cause leaky gut which is what we’re trying to stop so only a small amount is in GHC. Glutamine has two mechanisms of action, preserving the intestinal tight junction barrier and reducing permeability, via modulation of the inflammatory response through activation of stress markers.
Is to starve the bad bacteria’s in the large intestine, starve them from sugars. balance the good bacteria’s, strengthen the gut wall and control your gut. flora.
